Night-Flowering Catchfly - Silene Noctiflora
Night-Flowering Catchfly is medium height and is covered in sticky hair. The flowers are white or pink with a creamy back, and are in bloom from July to September. The petals open in the evening and stay open all night. It is generally found on cultivated and waste land. This night flowering plant is pollinated by moths at night. The seed will remain viable in the soil for many years.
It is easy to grow from seed and can be sown at any time of the year.
