Small Scabious - Scabiosa Columbaria
Small Scabious is a native perennial, which is attractive to bees and is popular in gardens. The flowers are generally blue and emerge from June onwards. It is a lovely flower for the garden, growing to 70cm tall. Small scabious can be confused with field scabious but it is shorter, more slender and less hairy.
Best sown in the autumn but can be grown at any time of the year.
