The Meadow Cranesbill boasts stunning violet-blue blossoms with crimson veins, flowering from July to September. This medium to tall grassland perennial features deeply lobed leaves and long, hairy stems that often have a reddish hue. It typically grows in rough grasslands, including verges and stream banks, as well as in moist hay meadows and pastures with light grazing.

Sow at any time of the year as will germinate when the conditions are right. Speed of germination can be increased following a light scarification.
