Tomatoes are straightforward and rewarding to grow. Start them in warmth, give them plenty of light and keep plants watered and fed as they develop.
Sow seeds indoors in warmth, lightly covering them with compost. Keep moist and provide plenty of light once seedlings appear.
Pot seedlings on as they grow. Keep them somewhere bright and protect young plants from cold temperatures.
Plant outside once frost risk has passed, or grow under cover. Water consistently and feed regularly once the first fruits begin to form.
